Australian Bookmaker Reviewer and Sports Betting Writer
About the Author
Michael Harris is a sports betting writer who has followed the Australian betting market for nine years, covering AFL, rugby league, cricket and horse racing. His work centres on comparing bookmakers in a structured way rather than chasing headline offers. For each operator he reviews, he checks licensing status with the relevant Australian authorities, confirms that the company publishes clear terms and responsible gambling tools, and examines how the platform presents its odds. He also reads bonus terms closely, looking at wagering requirements, minimum odds, expiry dates and exclusions that affect real value. Withdrawal speed is another core focus. He records how long payouts take through different methods and notes where verification steps cause delays. Alongside these checks, he assesses the user experience on desktop and mobile, from navigation to bet slip clarity. His approach is factual and measured, and he reminds readers that no bookmaker can guarantee winnings.
